Sri.M.N.Krishna Rao Memorial Open rapid chess tourney- Augustin triumphs
A. Augustin of Kodagu with 8 points and with a better
tie-break score of 51.5, tied with four-other players Aravind Shastry
(8-49), H.A.Amogha (8-47.5), N.Sanjay (8-47) and GM M.S.Thejkumar
(8-46), but with a better-tie-break score won the title (cash prize of
Rs.16,000/- & a trophy) in the Sri.M.N.Krishna Rao Memorial Open rapid
chess tournament 2017, conducted by the Mysore Chess centre at the
Dasprakash Paradise hall here on Saturday & Sunday respectively.
The prizes to the winners were given way by Smt.Lalithamma Krishna
Rao, K.Prabhakar, K.Ramesh, K.Somnath and Vishwanath Das of Hotel
Dasprakash Paradise.
