M.Shivanth with seven points from seven rounds clinched
the title in the "Saanvi Technologies Cup" Mysore district rapid chess
tournament 2018, conducted by the Mysore district Chess Association
(MDCA) at the University Lions hall here on Sunday.
Prasiddhi Bhat with 6 points (41.5) secured the second place, while
Mayuradhithya with 6 points ( 41) finished third.
The prizes to the winners were given away by M.Kayvashree, former
Karnataka State women's chess champion and Director Celestial Minds
Chess Academy, USA. Ramesh, University of Mysore, Syndicate Member,
Prof. Mallanna and K.R.Shivarame Gowda, Hon.Secretary, MDCA were the
other guests present on the occasion.
