Karnataka State U-18 & U-16 open and girls oneline chess championsip-Mysore's Prasiddhi Bhat,Anagha fare well

Shriya Revankar (U-18 girls), Chethan Anand (U-18 open) clinched the titles in the Karnataka State U-18 & U-16 sections respectively. The top two players in each section earn eligibility to represent the State in the Nationals. Mysuru's Prasiddhi Bhat (MPCA) secured the sixth place in the girls U-18 section. M.Shivanth (5.5 points) secured the 10th place in the U-18 open section. M.U.Thejas and V.Avinash also fared well. In the girls U-16 section, R.Sanjana clinched the title while Pankaj Bhat with 8 points clinched the title in the open section. Former National U-7 girls chess champion K.G.R.Anagha finished fifth in the girls U-16 section. Anagha from Kalale, Nanjangud, Mysuru District, finished second in the girls U-14 section and represented Karnataka in the Nationals.
