Bavaria Donau Cup Open Chess 2018-Germany- City's Vijayeendra finishes second
Mysuru lad Y.G.Vijayeendra, the former Karnataka
State champion, won his last and seventh round game against Germany's
Alexander Stadler and tied with Germany's Lennart Uphoof with 6 points
from seven rounds and secured the second place in the Bavaria Donau
Cup Open chess tournament 2018 held at Regensburg, Germany from 7-13th May 2018.
Lennart Uphoof of Germany with a better progressive tie-break score won the
title. Bernard Schimid, Florian Huiber and Alexander Stadler secured 4 points
each and secured the places from third to fifth in the final rankings.
